This role will be responsible for defining product strategy for the Mercer MHA and Willis Towers Watson CCMU products.
-The Partner Product Management team collaborates with strategic partners to design, build, integrate, and commercialize products that drive revenue growth and deliver value to Aetna's clients and members.
- A significant responsibility of the Partner Product Management team is to work with strategic partners Mercer and Willis Towers Watson on their clinical care management product offerings, MHA and CCMU respectively.
-The Product Manager, CCMU & MHA Products role will be responsible for collaborating with those strategic partners to design and deliver an evolved and enhanced product.
-The successful candidate is a product management professional who has experience with managing external strategic partnerships and has designed, developed, and launched clinical care management products.
-Work with our strategic partners to understand market needs and buyer personas, align strategies between the respective organizations, employ these insights to inform product design and development.
-Builds a thoughtful business case to substantiate and justify new or enhancement product development investments. .
-Engages with medical economics, clinical informatics, and analytics teams to evaluate opportunity areas, determine prevalence rates and impact opportunity sizes, as well as determine appropriate test and control criteria for evaluating clinical effectiveness.
-Employ product concept gate framework
-Clearly defines scope, ascertains Level of Effort estimates, budget approvals, and guides through prioritization processes.
-Responsible for building a product roadmap, prioritization, and rationale for phasing iterations in the product development cycle. Builds a prudent timeline and project plan for the full product development life cycle.
-Collaboratively works with and directs other Aetna cross-functional stakeholders to ensure support and adequate integration within other areas of the business operations. Employ product launch gate framework.
-Conduct contract negotiations, particularly with respect to pricing, branding, channel conflict resolution, and service level agreements. Directs other Aetna stakeholders such as Underwriting and Actuary, Procurement, and Legal.
-Defines the reporting and Key Performance Indicators to ensure accountability and success. Continually evaluates opportunities to improve product performance in the market.
BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS desired:
-Healthcare background required, familiarity with care management preferred
-Minimum 5 years of experience, preferably in product development/management
-Successfully brought a product from concept to market launch
-Demonstrated ability to collaborate with an external strategic partner
-Problem solving skills ability to clearly articulate a problem and solution statement
-Demonstrates critical thinking and research and analysis skills.
-Conduct themselves professionally with high levels of integrity to maintain confidentiality across partnerships and mitigate conflicts of interest.
-Achieves buy-in through active listening, respect, and empathic leadership styles.
-Familiarity with frameworks and methodologies such as pragmatic marketing , 280 Group

The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
