The Raytheon Global Business Services Cost Analysis organization is seeking an individual to join its team as a Principal Financial Cost Analyst. This individual will provide leadership in our Strategic Affordability Analysis organization. The Analyst’s work product and leadership will have a direct impact on Raytheon’s competitive posture in the defense market place and customer satisfaction. For these reasons, a strong background in cost accounting, estimating, industrial management/engineering and analytical techniques is required. 

Responsibilities include:
·Ensure regulatory compliance and protect Raytheon bookings by completing independent assessments of Raytheon’s Supplier proposals
·Discuss and support their findings with Government auditors and contracting officers. The Analyst will also work closely with Raytheon’s Estimating and Supply Chain organizations
·Drive affordability and value from Raytheon’s supply base through detailed fact-finding and Supplier negotiations
·Develop should-cost positions using RTN and industry information 
·Develop long term sourcing relationships with our strategic supplier
·Ensure Consistent application of sophisticated financial analysis to all of Raytheon’s subcontracts in excess of $1 million
·Build and maintain Raytheon’s institutional knowledge of ESPX fact-finding methodologies and Marginal Pricing

Required Skills:
·Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams by influencing without authority 
·Demonstrated ability to lead focused discovery and supplier and subcontract negotiations
·Advanced knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations
·Experience working in at least 2 of the following areas: 

oRaytheon and subcontractors proposal requirements
oManufacturing/Industrial Engineering
oOperations or Product Line estimating
oProgram Business/Cost Accounting

·Strong analytical and problem solving skills
·Demonstrated Utilization of appropriate analytical techniques to determine reasonableness of supplier proposed costs
·Demonstrated Understanding of proposed labor, material, other direct costs, direct and indirect rates and profit
·Proficient in MS Office
·Demonstrated ability to multi task and work well under pressure to meet deadlines
·Must be able to work in a very fast pace environment and adapt quickly to changing requirements
·Strong oral and written communication skills

·Demonstrated ability to lead, provide and approve strategies for focused discovery pursuits

Required Education (including Major): 
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Finance, Cost Accounting Business, or Industrial/Manufacturing functions with Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or 3 years related experience with Master’s 101609
