Oracle Worldwide Operations manages the hardware supply chain for both the (external) commercial business and also for internal customers in support of the rapidly growing Oracle Cloud.
The Supply Planning organization is focused on developing greater flexibility and deep supply visibility that can adapt to varied business models and an increasingly complex business environment. We are seeking highly-talented supply chain professionals can strengthen our capabilities in this new function and help enable the broader business objectives.
The Sr. Supply Planner will work with all Operations functions, support both the commercial and Cloud business, and rapidly develop new processes that scale and align with a business growth trajectory. Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop Flex strategy for your assigned products to both historical variability and an S&OP recommended upside above consensus forecast.
Manage and analyze supplier commits to forecast and flex position. Identify and escalate gaps.
Integrate supply commits, and other constraint overlays i.e. capacity, into an overall “supply capability” assessment and profile for your assigned products.
Partner closely with Material Program Managers to ensure mitigation of incremental E&O risk resulting from Flex strategies.
Support sub-tier supply risk analysis and develop mitigation strategies & recommendations.
Take “point” on unique supply chain scenarios, collaborate across numerous Operations functions, collect relevant data from varied sources, and recommend a solution path.
Supply Chain / Operations degree or equivalent and a minimum of five years supply chain experience, including Planning roles.
Ability to learn and integrate vast amounts of data from a variety of tools into a comprehensive analysis and business recommendation.
Ability to thrive in a fast-pace and dynamic environment with a level of ambiguity consistent with new business models.
Orientation toward rapid process iteration and “try-storming” via an endless series of pilots. This entails the design 80% solutions that are very effective for a short-term and then replaced with the next-level improved version.
Excellent informal leadership, interpersonal and executive-level presentation skills.
