As a Data Scientist, working at Contactlab you will live and love data. You will be responsible for building cutting-edge data products that provide our customers with deeper insights and tell a more compelling story with data. You will research, design, and implement robust methods for statistical analysis that can be used to help make sense of a massive amount of information.

What you will do at Contactlab:

You will work on highly complex and innovative projects aimed to make the entire organization and our customers more data driven. In particular as a data scientist, you will be accountable for:
Leveraging company’s data to generate competitive advantage and new business models
Ingestion, enrichment, analysis and visualization of data using statistics, algorithms, data mining and machine learning
Managing the entire data-refinery process including gathering business and technical requirements, coordinating and building solutions and providing
Building recommendation and segmentation engines to increase marketing effectiveness
Designing, training and testing predictive models


We are looking for a hands-on scientist who enjoys playing with the technology and building new solutions and is able to communicate the results at multiple levels within the organization. You will need the following to be successful:
At least 1/2 years of experience in the role, preferably with international technology players
Master in computer science (or related fields) with significant coursework in statistics or machine learning
Applied knowledge of recommendation engines, behavioral segmentation and information visualization
Hands-on proficiency experience with R
Experience with relational databases (MySQL or Postgres)
Excellent English is a must
