Overview

Partners with the Chula Vista Aftermarket Leadership Team to develop a long-term vision and near-term action plan for the HR function, aligned with business strategy

  • Coaches managers in performance management including addressing performance issues, rewarding superior performance, and communicating performance expectations to employees, develop succession plans, and develop employees
  • Actively contributes to and influence CV Leadership Team’s thinking and decisions on organization design, job design, and talent for key roles that impact execution of business strategy
  • Works with managers to plan and implement change with a focus on ensuring effective employee communications.
  • Drives staffing activities including BrassRing management, candidate interviewing, pre-employment screening, facilitation of new hire orientation and on-boarding activities
  • Participates in enterprise-wide HR activities including cultural change transformation, systems transformation, continuous improvement process progression, and other HR initiatives.
  • Project focal role in implementing Talent Acquisition Recruitment efforts across ASG HR team to provide support for high impact leadership positions, critical skills and RPO implementation Q1 2018.
Qualifications Successful candidate will be an experienced HR business partner with proven depth and breadth of HR expertise (Talent Management, Workforce Planning, Leadership Development, Compensation etc.). In addition, successful candidate will have the following qualifications, experience and skills: 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant HR experience working in a manufacturing industry within a matrixed organization structure
  • Working knowledge of employment law and industry best practices.
  • Proven track record of building strong relationships vertically and horizontally within an organization.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Results oriented with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Education
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent.
