About the role:
The Business Analyst, located at our HQ in Adelaide, will join a dynamic team to provide direction and focus in the concept and definition space as MyBudget embarks on defining its Next Generation technology platform.
We are looking for someone who can draw on a wide range of experiences to employ the best approaches and techniques to enable data collection, analysis, business process modelling & requirements engineering within an Agile environment. You will be responsible for supporting and guiding software development which enables business success through its entire life cycle, from requirements gathering to implementation & testing.

Drawing on extensive knowledge of project planning, scheduling, requirements determination and Agile project methodologies
Working closely with existing business analysts and product managers who are subject matter experts with deep knowledge of the business and existing systems
Ensuring best practice methods, procedures & techniques are adhered to within the Product Strategy team
Driving the concept and definition stages of projects
Modelling the business domain, including the creation of structure, behaviour and interaction diagrams using UML and associated notations
Writing user stories and use cases to define detailed requirements specifications, including acceptance criteria & functional test cases
Performing feasibility analysis, scopes projects, and works with technology and other teams to negotiate product functionalities and prioritise deliverables

Be excited by the idea of joining a core business analysis capability within a rapidly growing organisation
Have fantastic communications skills and the ability to deal with multiple stakeholders from varied levels of technical experience
Be great at balancing the needs of the user, business and development team
Have excellent problem solving and analytical skills
